It was 89 miles averaging about 15 mph down the coast with about 5000 feet of climbing. It was great to see old friends and meet some new ones. Mike D and Danny Kim have joined us from San Diego and are doing awesome!
Incredible weather all day - perfect riding weather. We crossed GG bridge even though it is not on the route, but when you are close, how can you resist! It was a beautiful coastline (see some of the photos) outside of SF and right before Devils Slide. There were alot of big rolling hills - the best part are the downhills - Dwight got up to 45 but don't tell Maria ;-). It was nice to have a little tailwind for the last 25 miles as we cruised into camp.
Day 1 is officially in the books and we are off to Day 2 and the Mocha Chai's!!!
